Susan Springer is the Founder and Director of Your Cup of Tea®, a company which provides an opportunity for men, women, and young people in Seattle, Snohomish and other Puget Sound communities to learn proper etiquette for tasting and enjoying tea in social or business situations, or for hosting their own tea tasting or tea party.
Ms. Springer's events are characterized by her delightful sense of humor and her knowledge of tea history, beginning in China and continuing through the Victorian and Edwardian eras where many of our present day tea rituals originated. You will enjoy being entertained while learning tea etiquette and tea protocol, valuable career enhancing social skills.
Ms. Springer's credentials include Certification in Family & Consumer Sciences, Foundations of Tea - Levels I & II by the Speciality Tea Institute, and she is certified in Tea Etiquette by the Protocol School of Washington, DC, the leader in etiquette and protocol services. She is also a published author in national publications and a columnist on tea tasting, tea events, tea instruction, and related topics for the Country Register newspaper. The former wife of 26 years to a Lt. Colonel in the Air National Guard, Ms. Springer has conducted classes for military wives' groups throughout the Greater Pacific Northwest area.
